SeismicGuy Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 I have a feeling I should be able to figure out how to do this but it hasn't come to me yet. Say I have an image that starts at the left of the screen about midway up and I want that image to end up at the right of the screen about midway up. I assume this would take a keyframe at the beginning and one at the end. But what if I want that image to move in an arc or some other path and not in a straight line across the screen. If I add a keyframe mid-time that has that middle position when I play the slide the image stops for a second at that mid-time keyframe and then continues. Is there a way to get the start to end motion in a continuous smooth motion? Quote
jkb Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 Add the Modifier 'Smooth Move' to the middle keyframe This will make it travel in a smooth arc across the screen Jill Quote
SeismicGuy Posted September 22 Author Report Posted September 22 I think I tried using that modifier but will check again. Quote

It won't do what you want unless you add it to the Middle one of the 3 Keyframes. Keyframe1 - Start position Keyframe2 - mid position with Smooth Move Modifier Keyframe3 - End Position Jill Quote
SeismicGuy Posted September 25 Author Report Posted September 25 Just got around to trying that Smooth modifier on the middle keyframe and it worked like a charm--thanks! 1 Quote
