Doozybird Posted October 2 Report Posted October 2 I am attempting to publish a DVD Video disk through PTE AV Studio 10.5.9 (64-bit) build 3 that I can use to create copies to give out of a high school reunion video I made. Only 1 in 4 attempts burned successfully, but it would not play on my Sony DVD player. I believe the project was set to PAL instead of NTSC format on that one. I had to reduce the bit rate from 7000 to 6000 to compensate for it to fit on a 4.7 GB disk. My first two attempts (unsuccessful) were at 8X speed, and this one was at 4X. I tried another 4X speed in NTSC format, but it would not burn successfully. The error I am getting after burning started and near 99% is "TrackAtOnceFrom Tree Failed, exception 8, status 2, text "CStarBurn_ScsiTransportSPTI::ExecuteCDB(): Command Failed" then after that, "Operation failed." I am using a Dell DW316 external USB 2.0 DVD drive. Granted, the Dell external drive is a few years old, and I understand it may be at fault, so I have ordered a new external DVD drive. My PC is a 2-year-old Intel NUC with a big SSD HD and 32G or so of RAM. I closed all apps that were running except PTE AV. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Quote
davegee Posted October 2 Report Posted October 2 Can you create an ISO file? Untick everything else and just try to create the ISO. If that is successful then from memory, your problem is not PTE. DG Quote
Doozybird Posted October 3 Author Report Posted October 3 Thanks. I saw that option. I’ll try that if the new dvd player doesn’t work. Quote
