smithrg Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 Hi Everyone, I have created a show with 70 slides and 5.5 minutes in length, but when I try to render it, it takes over 1.5 hours. This is not the norm for my computer. (Please take a look at the computer specs in the attachment I've included here.) Does anyone know what could cause such a lengthy render? The images are all only about 3/4 MBs each. Thank you for any ideas, Robert. Quote
jkb Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 what resolution are you Publishing at? Have you ticked 'Motion Blur' ? this can increase render times Is there anything else running on your computer at the same time, such a scan etc. ? A 5.5 min show should render in about the same time at 1920x1080 with your computer spec. Can you post a screen shot of the Publish settings you have used. Jill Quote
smithrg Posted October 21 Author Report Posted October 21 Hi Jill, that is highlighted at the top of the attachment. No nothing is running at the time, and you are correct, it should take about the same time as the time of the show. Thank you for your time, I am at a loss at what is happening, Robert. Quote

It was the Motion Blur! I turned off the motion blur and it rendered in 3 minutes and 2 seconds. If not for you I would never have found that! The show is for my Great-Granddaughter's Birthday, in 4 days and you saved me. I am so grateful, Robert 1 Quote
