digartal Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 This has me scratching my head so much I have splinters in my fingers. Initially I made a short slideshow as detailed in PTE screen shot below. Images in a dedicated folder. I decided to flip the images on the horizontal to improve composition and positive/negative space. The images are shown as flipped in Windows File Explorer - see blow. Both screenshots are of the same folder, one is flipped as post processed, the other is as per the original image. I have tried closing and re-opening the project, deleting the images and reloading them, moving them to a different folder and re-finding them, creating a new project with a duplicate copy of the flipped images. No matter what I do the images are not displayed correctly in PTE? The images were flipped and batch processed in Adobe Bridge using the Custom Export Tool. Any ideas? Mark Quote
jkb Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 no idea as I don't use Bridge, but it would be much easier to simply flip them in PTE in O&A use a Rotate Y of 180. If you are using PTE11 then you only need do it to the first image, create a Quick Slide Style & then Apply that to all the other images in one go. Jill 1 Quote
denisb Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 I suppose that Bridge modify only the Orientation metadata (without modify the photo itself and PTE does not recognize the corresponding value (2 or mirror horizontal) PTE recognize the value of rotation (6 or rotate 90 cw for example) Denis 1 Quote

Jill Thanks - that worked although I had now thought of aligning them in PS and exporting each image to a new image. Quote

I opened them in another browser application (Faststone) which showed them as flipped. Quote
