Aleina Show Posted yesterday at 04:27 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:27 PM Hi Igor, Congratulations to your team and us, the users, on releasing a useful program! Its functionality is interesting. I really liked the implementation of slow motion with interpolation - it looks very smooth and beautiful. I have a question, will the video file editing link from this program be implemented in PTE AV? Import-export? Aleina
tom95521 Posted yesterday at 04:32 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:32 PM Hi Igor, I have been testing it on my Mac mini and it works well. A few of my video stabilization tests. I think objects near moving water are difficult to stabilize and movement of bicycles during road construction. I will continue to test on my Mac. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLt3fALeAR4PXyvtVcaZhsp87LWUpZG7vX Thanks, Tom
nelson Posted yesterday at 04:50 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:50 PM This is perfect for my needs with PTE. Early experimenting with the program it functions well. Count me in as an early adopter. Kieron
nelson Posted yesterday at 05:02 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:02 PM I am curious about what settings Igor used in his demonstration of image stabilization. Not sure about the expand option. Thanks, Kieron

And additionally it will possible to use special keyframes to dynamically control video speed, even to pause a video for several seconds. We'll add a command to the popup menu for the File List in PTE 12 to convert one or several video files in PTE Video Optimizer.

Many thanks for sharing these excellent examples for video stabilization function in PTE Video Optimizer! Looks very convincing. I think this function can be very useful for old videos when cameras didn't have optical stabilizer, or it didn't work well.

Count me in as an early adopter. That's good to hear! Quote I am curious about what settings Igor used in his demonstration of image stabilization. Not sure about the expand option. I used "Strong" preset (for the city) and "Normal" preset (the flower). Expand = 0 for both cases. "Expand" option can be used together with the "Strong" preset if you still observe some undesired shaky motion in a picture. This option will crop some part of a video picture (edges) reducing undesired motion. I recommend to try Expand = 5...10% When you use "Strong" preset, the program analyzes 30/30 frames (forward/backward) for each frame to perform the optimal stabilization.
Alex55
Congratulations and thanks to the Team! This is absolutely the must addition to the PTE! So far just couple of questions: 1.Do we have to Import converted Video into the Project or it going to be somehow linked to the Video Optimizer and done while rendering the Project? 2. In order to compare the results it would be great to have Option to turn applied settings off/on momentarily. Once again thanks a lot. Great work! Hope we'll see more upcoming surprises Alex55
AleAle5025
Thank you to all developers for the Video Optimizer. The program is intuitive and simple. All control functions are working. Space bar to start and stop the video editor, as in PTE AV Studio, it didn't work for me. Good luck to everyone and success in improving PTE.

Space bar will pause/resume playback in next updates. Currently you can use Print/Break key on a PC keyboard. Or click left mouse button on a picture of the mini player. The same in PTE 11. Thanks for your feedback!
Igor
Thank you for your wishes! 8 hours ago, Alex55 said: 1.Do we have to Import converted Video into the Project or it going to be somehow linked to the Video Optimizer and done while rendering the Project? Do you mean PTE AV Studio project? Currently PTE Video Optimizer is completely independent app from PTE AV Studio. We plan to integrate both apps - it will possible to convert/optimize selected video files from PTE in PTE Video Optimizer. 8 hours ago, Alex55 said: 2. I've added to our TODO list.
denisb
Hi Igor, usually, I stabilize my video clip and increase the sharpness with another application. I try the same things with PTE Video Optimizer: The stabilize option seems to work well. The sharpness ( negative blur) has the same default as PTE AV Studio 11. The last line and the last column are brighter. I hope you will solve this in PTE AV Studio 12. Denis

vbl2007
Thank you, Igor, interesting program! Quite a lot of settings! Saved a video with the same settings as the original - the file size decreased by 22 percent. Great! I support the proposal to view the old and new changes in the file. I did not find the ability to undo actions (Ctrl-Z). Question: when inserting a video from this program into PTE AV Studio, will there be further repeated improvement of the inserted video? Do I need to run the output MP4 file through this program after PTE AV Studio?
