I have not yet fully understood the algorithm, but it is somehow related to changing the sound. For example, if I have reverse playback enabled and I check the "mute sound" box, the program freezes completely. Hi. I took two files and turned on all the functions from top to bottom, with different settings, except for the logo and mute. This time I added mute. I output different files several times. The program has never crashed. I have combined the files. 1 Quote

And did you enable file playback after checking 2 boxes "reverse playback" and "mute sound"? If you do not enable playback, then the file output works. Maybe this is a feature of my system or the program is not installed correctly, but this algorithm is very often repeated for me both with videos shot on a phone and with videos shot by a drone. P.S. I also tried different files and not all of them have this problem. Although the video was shot on the same devices with the same settings. I can't figure out what the problem is. I'll attach one of the files as an example. https://cloud.mail.ru/public/kp5w/ajPkLVoDM Quote
AleAle5025 Posted November 17 Author Report Posted November 17 I watched the video files from a professional camera, a camera, a smartphone and a monitor. I turned off the sound in all files and checked the reverse box. Then the reverse preview checkmark was removed from one video file. The program works well in all variants. Combined video files captured by a professional camera. Video playback in Video Optimizer slows down. It plays well on the player. 1 Quote
AleAle5025 Posted November 17 Author Report Posted November 17 I recorded the fishing video without any problems. After the preview. When watching the video in the program, it goes with jerks in the video player everything is OK. https://disk.yandex.ru/i/0pQD8EJSJ41xRA 1 Quote
Igor Posted Monday at 01:29 PM Report Posted Monday at 01:29 PM Hi Aleina, I cannot reproduce freezing with your sample video yet. I ticked the "Reverse playback" option and "Mute" option. Can you give me step by step instuction how to see this freezing? However I know the issue with Reverse playback option with video files in MTS file container (raw video stream). P.S. Please note that reverse video playback is usually not smooth enough - such playback requires a lot of computation, because video files are not optimized for reverse decoding. We hope to optimize it as possible. 2 Quote
Aleina Show Posted Monday at 07:50 PM Report Posted Monday at 07:50 PM Hi Igor, This is some kind of magic or gremlins got into my computer. It is possible that I had a local problem. But today my program behaves differently. It works fine with the same problematic files. I tried to record the freezing process on video, and it did not work. But while I was writing the answer, I had the program open. I go in and repeat the viewing - it froze again. I can't understand what is the reason for such strange behavior. But then it froze on another file. And differently. The system does not freeze. When I turn on "play", the viewing simply disappears. I will attach this file just in case. In general, I can't clarify this problem yet. I will observe further behavior, maybe a specific reason will be found. https://cloud.mail.ru/public/xt2b/7HZnMfmoy bandicam 2024-11-18 22-24-38-165.mp4 Quote
Igor Posted Tuesday at 02:45 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 02:45 PM Hi Aleina, Thanks for testing. I reproduced once this issue with non-working Mini Player which doesn't respond on click Play button. We think to disable a live preview for a reversed video, because we cannot provide a smooth playback. 1 Quote
Aleina Show Posted Tuesday at 03:13 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 03:13 PM Hi Igor, The fact that the video is not played very smoothly is not a big problem. In my case, the files are played quite smoothly. Except for those that cause freezing for some unknown reason. I think that over time this reason will be found and eliminated. Good luck to your entire team, you will succeed. Well, we will wait patiently. Quote
Igor Posted Wednesday at 08:11 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 08:11 AM Thanks, Aleina! We'll try to improve a work of Reverse video option. 1 Quote
