jt49 Posted Saturday at 02:45 PM Report Posted Saturday at 02:45 PM In "Project Options > Audio" we have a volume slider for each clip. It would be fine if we also had one for each track. 1 Quote
aplman Posted Sunday at 07:28 PM Report Posted Sunday at 07:28 PM Great idea! I suspect I would use it. Quote
jkb Posted Sunday at 10:37 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:37 PM VU meters are what we really need, ideally for each track & also for the whole project. Also to be able to show left & right channels seperately rather the current mixed view. Jill Quote

Only recently I had a track with lots of clips, each one with an individual setting, and I wanted to reduce the overall volume of this track. I used the following workaround: I exported the said track as a wave file, and I inserted this file as a new track while muting the original track. Now I could change the volume using the envelope. It works, but it isn't a pleasant way to go. So. I would like to see a volume slider for the whole track, as we have it in Audacity. 1 Quote
Igor Posted Monday at 03:08 PM Report Posted Monday at 03:08 PM Hi, Thanks for your suggestions! We added VU meter and sound volume for a track or global soundtrack to our TODO list. I agree that these functions are important. Jean-Charles also asked me about VU meter feature recently. 1 Quote
