A couple of months ago, I registered PTE, and just have not had time to dive into it.

Yesterday I printed out Lin's tutorial about getting started with Ver. 5.

Thanks for a great tutorial Lin!

I was able to make a basic slideshow, and even learned a bit about using Ken Burns type motion. Still a ways to go on the learning curve, but the timeline and keypoints are starting to make sense.

Now to the question:

I remember from browsing this forum earlier, that there were a couple of recommendations given for software to edit mp3 music files to fade in and out, and set the length to match the length of the slideshow.

I have looked around here, and can't seem to find the threads that I saw earlier.

Would anyone mind posting a link to a favorite editor?

Free would be preferred, of course.
