Pte file saving [SOLVED]

I’ve just got Pte studio 11 and when saving a Pte file it only shows a white box without any icon, is this normal? Also the file can’t be opened just by clicking on the file, can only be opened once Pte is open and opening there.

Hi Dick,

When you installed did you tick the 'Associate pte file' box?

If not, then just reinstall making sure you tick this.

Or go into Windows Programs & associate it there.

Much easier just to reinstall

Otherwise depends which version of Windows you are on as they all have a slightly different procedure.

I am on Windows 10 & it is -

Settings - Apps - Default Apps - Choose default applications by file type

Then scroll down to find .pte on the left & select PTE AV Studio on the right (if it doesn't show then click on Choose a Default)
