Hi Dick,

When you installed did you tick the 'Associate pte file' box?

If not, then just reinstall making sure you tick this.

Or go into Windows Programs & associate it there.

Otherwise depends which version of Windows you are on as they all have a slightly different procedure.

I am on Windows 10 & it is -

Settings - Apps - Default Apps - Choose default applications by file type

Then scroll down to find .pte on the left & select PTE AV Studio on the right (if it doesn't show then click on Choose a Default)
