kidrep
I am new to PTE, and I have a PTE file that someone gave me. Can I take it and convert it back to just jpg files? That would be making the process go backwards...I have the PTE and I want the pictures individually. Thanks for the help!
Hawk
Hello kidrepUse a screen capture program, run the PTE show.Use the Hot Key in the program to capture screen image. When completed you can then use a Graphic program to edit them." Print Screen " on your keyboard will only capture one image at a time.Other screen capture programs save images as many times as you hit the Hot Key as the pictures are displayed, and saves them all to a catalogue folder.Hope this answers your question.Hawk
boxig
kidrepPTE file is a text file that keeps the information about the slideshow project. It records all information you put when you made your project like, name of pictures and where they are located on your computer (along with all other information). In other words, you can't do nothing with pte file unless you have all the pictures and sound files too. Sorry.
HaroldB
Kidrep,Just to try to make sense of the two apparently contradictory responses you have gotten:PTE produces two files for a show. One file normally has a .PTE suffix and is not usually distributed to the end-user. The other file has a .EXE suffix and is what the end-user gets to actually run the show.If you have the .PTE file, see the response from Boxig. If you have the .EXE file, see the response from Hawk.Harold
