goddi Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 One of the frustations (minor, but important) I have when using V4.48, is that when I put text in a slide, I can not tell which slides have the text added when viewing the Slide List window. I have to open several slides around the area that I think have the text, until I find it. Is it possible to have an indication in the Slide List window, in addition to the Size, that would indicate that something has been added by the Object Editor? Yes, I know there are other ways to come up with a list of what each slide has, but those ways are not as efficient as having some indication in the Slide List window. I am interested mostly in Text, but it can also be for the Graphic or Hyperlink choices.I have tried out the lastest Beta version but I don't see this idea being added. Has this been thought of this already or am I missing something? Good idea...bad idea? Thanks, Gary Quote
thedom Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 Hi Gary,It's an excellent idea.It has been discussed already about v5.Because with v5, you can add a lot of objects, but not only texts or links, but also images and rectangles. And it would be more convenient if we could see all these object directly in the main window, instead of having to open each slide's O/A window. It's a request for a future version. But I'm not sure Igor gave a definitive answer or even if it's feasible. Quote
