Hi,

I have made many tests with V5 and some test-slideshows, now it's time to make a slideshow, not for test but for pleasure, so here is my first real slideshow with V5 : Fantaisies florales (Floral whims)

I hope you will enjoy.

Note : it's done only with JPG files

Marvelous Jean-Pierre !

I too had to gather the household of people to see "what you can do if you study your math." Of course you also need a brilliant guy like Igor to open the world.

Thanks to you both.

If the slideshow permit to bring a smile on Mrs Ken Cox's face and also make that Lumenlux's family study the math, it's a succes, of course, impossible to do without Igor's work.

Thanks Robert.

I try to answer to Fish about stars and triangles.

If you put a picture as child of a rectangle, then rotate the picture of 45° and at last zoom the rectangle, you will have a lozange. With 3 lozanges you can have a triangle, with 5 or 6 a star.

The only problem is that you must modify your pictures in order they are correct after have been transform in lozange.

Damned, you go further and further !! :o

Your technique is really really impressive Jean-Pierre.

I would really like to have a look at your PTE project... :)

Unless you do not agree, I will post your file on my site (only a link to it).

I would prefer you put the link on Version 2 which is on my page or on Diapositif forum. I have made some modifications because I didn't like the end and there were minors errors. As for the first version, I used only JPG fles to do it (There is one BMP, but it is not use for the views of the slideshow).

PS for Dom the PTE file of the V2 is inside the exe ;)

Thanks Jean-Pierre for the PTE project !

I updated the link and the title of the file to "....v2" (with an "updated" icon).

I noticed you added a shape with 12 sides :o

That's absolutely amazing !

For everybody, go download JPD's files on his site, there a lot of great stuff there !

(Btw, there is a broken link for your file "Pêcheur / Mise en boite (exe)").

There is a file missing in your file "Filet/Lines and border (album) : démo et tutoriel ".

It's the "41x41.bmp" file.

Thanks Dom, I'll repair as soon as possible

Have you find the PTE file ?

As the version 2 wasn't so smooth than version 1, I search to optimize the size of the objects for a 1280 x 960 screen definition and have now near 10 Mo less in the memory of the graphic card making the slideshow smoother than the version 2.

Here is the link for Fantaisies florales version 3

If it's not smooth on your PC, please tell me which view has the problem.

Jean-Pierre,

I don't see any pte project in your archive, only the exe.

I don't want to bother you but I would really like the see how you made. :)
