Hi Dom,

That's really bad - people who do such things need to be horse whipped at the town square, then sent to a Siberian salt mine for "recovery".

If there is anything any of us can do to help you get data or information back please let us know. It may be possible to get information from various caches. Did you have your own server? If not, usually an ISP will have a backup though it may not contain all the most current data. Let me know if I can help any way with links, etc.

Probably your web hoster did daily backups of your entire site/forum?

This forum also was hacked two days ago.

There are stupid persons which only destroy work of others and these "hackers" are not possible for nothing more. Poor limited people.

J'ai moi-même été victime d'une agression semblable, mais sur mon PC ou tout les fichiers concernant Nana Mouskouri (à propos de qui j'ai fait un site) ont été détruits, et là ce n'était sûrement pas par hasard (10 Go nettoyés).

(It's the spanish version )

Once downloaded, install it.

Once it is installed, go in the folders where the files you downloaded are.

Right click on an empty space of your folder and choose "Create Winzip file".

Rename this file "ForDom" by example.

After, drag and drop all the files you have on this file.

They will be automatically included in the archive.

At the end, connect to http://transferbigfiles.com/ and follow the instructions.

TransferBigFiles.com allows to upload files up to 1 Gb (1024 Mb).

I'm afraid it will take hours but it will depends mainly on your internet connection.

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was tired of hearing all the bickering.

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld.

Jesus just sighed.

Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming:

"It's gone! It's all GONE! "I lost everything when the power went out!"

Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files from the past two hours of work.

Satan observed this and became irate.

"Wait!" he screamed. "That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all his work and I don't have any?"

Courage mon ami. Shattered to hear of your misfortune. Unfortunately, there are those, lacking the ability to create anything worthwhile themselves, ensure their effect upon the world by destroying the works of others.

It occurs to me that, as a result of the generous response you will get from this forum, you will end up being overwhelmed by duplication.

Therefore, two things I can offer to do:

a) mail you a list of all the stuff I have, that was downloaded from your site. Then, when you get all the data, members are sending, it will be a simple matter to see if I have anything that you are missing.

put into English anything you find easier or quicker, to write in French.
