Peter S Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 I have just returned to the forum after a long absence and have been getting, or at least trying to get, to grips with Beta 5. Thanks to JPD, BJC, Thedom and Lin for some excellent tutorials. I have managed to create a cube, size it and move it. I also followed the tutorial and created a three sided cube in Photoshop CS2. How these effects are created in PTE in the first place is however a complete mystery to me. I can use Excel spread sheets but do not understand how they are being used to help create the results in PTE. Can anyone please provide a simple overview of this process? It might be better if I concentrate on my photography and Photoshop and wait and use the templates so kindly provided by the cognoscenti but my curiosity has got the better of me.Thanks for showing us what can be achieved. I am sure there is more to come. A small primer for the uninitiated would be most appreciated.Peter Quote
JPD Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 There are many calculations to make the differents keypoints we need to do a cube rotate, so it's easier to do them with a speadsheet. But in order you haven't to do this work, there is a template here you can use and copy in your own project. TheDom made a better explanation than mine, but unfortunately his pages have been hacked and I haven't them. Quote
