NO PREVIEW WITH MUSIC

Just starting to use Beta 5 (v6) but if I try to use music neither the preview or .exe file start. No pictures or music. If "play background music" is off then the preview and .exe file show pictures.

I don't have this problem with version 4.48.

I saw reference elsewhere on forum to running dxdiag but it doesn't show problems.

I have SB Audigy Audio [D400] and 128MB DDR ATI Radeon 9800 Pro

Can anyone help, please.

Hello Jon,

Welcome to the forum.

- "Play background music" must be activated

- Beta 5 v6 is working with "wave" and "mp3" files, not with "ogg" for the moment (version 4.48 does).

- Look for the kind of file you use

Thanks a lot for your advice.

I was using WMA music files but mp3 is fine.
