I have just uploaded to Beechbrooke, a copy of a new show on that I finished this week.

I have had a few days free and spent a day at the Black Country Museum in Birmingham.

Because the weather was not very good, there were not many people in the museum for most of the day.

This is a really good place to spend a few hours. I enjoyed myself so much, the next day I spent in the Blists Hill museum at Ironbridge and did it all again. Another show to come probably.

Comments welcome, good or bad.

:) Hi

Nice show. I am intending to visit |The Black Country Museum in the new year and your photos have added to that resolve. I especially liked the idea of starting and finishing in full colour with sepia tones in between.

Two small (I hope constructive) comments:

Whilst the music is nice, it is a bit hackneyed and your photographs would benefit from something just a little different.

The idea of placing the various enamelled signs against a single background works very well, but if you could "square up" the signs using perspective, or transform tools in Photoshop or similar would improve the appearance. I found the different perspectives to be a bit troubling to the eye.

Otherwise, keep up the good work.

Regards

Andrew
