rtlong Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Greetings, On 11/08/06 the planet Mercury crossed the disk of the sun (a transit) and I captured 91 frames of the event through an Orion ED80 telescope equipped with a bader solar filter and shot using a Canon 300D. I shot a frame every 3 minutes and 8 seconds for a total of 4 hours and 44 minutes. The 18.6 meg file can be found at: http://www.budgetastro.com/web/mercury-transit.html Quote
