I had a client ask what was happening in their computer when the slide show I have sent them on pictures to exe expires. They set the date back so they could see it after it had expired to place an order from me, and they could look at it once, but when they tried it a 2nd time the program wouldn’t let them see it.

They were concerned that the program was writing something on their computer, and they want me to tell them what is happening.

Does anyone know if the program is putting a cookie on their computer, or something else? Thanks

There is no absolute protection, of course. Any protection can be hacked if necessary. So there is no reason make strong protection.

Slide show doesn't put cookie.

We use recommended by Microsoft places to keep expiration information. No potentially dangerous ways as some other programs do.
