Introducing myself and first PTE show

Dear PTE users,

My name is Prashant Khapane (from India, working in Germany for last 7 years as scientist) and photography is my hobby (mostly landscape). I created this show for last christmas and presented it at our organizations christmas party. This year am presenting it at Fotoclub in Göttingen.

Let me know how you find this. I'm not a big fan of effects.

It's my fault. I just deleted the file as it was a trial version with copyrighted music. I have now added RFM and file is being uploaded. May take 5-7 more minutes to get uploaded at website.

First of all, may I congratulate you on a wonderful set of photographs - lovely shots.

I hope you won't mind my making two comments about your show:

1. you should give the viewer more time to "take in" the picture. The slides changed so quickly that I couldn't appreciate each individual image.

2. mixing landscape and format slides "at random" doesn't really work as it is distracting to the eye. You might try grouping the images - a set of portrait-format images together, then landscape-format and so on. Or you could display two portrait-format images side by side on a neutral background so that the overall image shape remains landscape format.

But, once again, let me say how much I enjoyed the photographs. Well done.

I loved in particular the images of "water".

Is it a special effect you made in a photo editor or is it natural (long exposure time)?

You are right about the transition. I've not used PTE often though I own it for more than a year.

Dom, No use of special effects, I did mention that am not a big fan of special effects. It is the exposure.

You have some excellent images there. I have to agree with Roger on the presentation of them. That can easily be sorted. I wish I could take picture of water like that!!

Just downloaded your show to my desktop, download compleated and got your shows icon, on clicking on it I got the Message " The trial period for this show has ended" and I was returned to my desktop, can you please repost it.
