JRR Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 When I project with a beamer, Jan:What do you mean by a "beamer" ? If you mean projector, the limited experience I have had has shown that lower quality propjectors are more suspectible to pixels (vertical rectangles) appearing on the screen. The pixels are more visible the closer you are to the screen. The type of screen can be a factor. A lenticular screen, while brightest of all, is not as good when the viewer watches from off to the side. The texture of the lenticular screen can also seem to be pixels. Glass beaded screens are better than lenticular when viewed from the side and the texture is not as noticeable.A matte screen is general the best. Quote
