An other try to make a photo album effect...

I made it simple, using a PTE transition effect for the flipping pages.

If some of you are interested, I will release a template.

But I have to wait for V5 beta 9, the new features will make it easier and let me improve it.

("add shadow", "add text", "semi transparent rectangles" features).

Comments welcome.

A question:

When come the following page, in your example Album2, the back part of the photography is not seen.

I made an example with: Curling of page... Rolling up from right, but I cannot obtain that effect.

Do you can explaint it to us?

Actually, it's really simple and I do not have any merit :

in the "transition Effect" tab, I choosed "Curling of page (Horinzontal/Vertical) ", "Rolling Up from right" and I checked "Color of the back side". That's it, the back part of the photography is not seen !

And you can choose the color of the back side too (I choosed white).

The Dom, I would like that you put this and others news full PTE projects, you have very good ideas and maximum PTE dominion.

Thank you for your compliments.

As requested by you and by others who left a comment on my site, I will make a template as soon as v5 beta #9 is released.

Just to let you know that I am improving my template (see picture attached) but I really have to wait for beta 9 because of the new features which will be released...

I'm making progress...

Some of the features I use are only avalaible in the O/A (not in preview mode nor in exe), that's why I can only show you a flash animation of a single slide.

The final template will include :

- book opening

- pages flipping

- book closing

It will be very easy to modify the cover and the page themselves (because shadows are done in PTE).

You will have the ability very easily to :

- use portrait and landscape pictures.

- change the frame picture

- add as many pages as you want

To be honest, I'm quite proud of what I already have done...

I just looked over your flash sample of your new Photo Album. Very cool! I'm in the midst of working on something like this and would very much appreciate getting a copy of your PTE file to look at. I know it won't work fully until we get the next beta, but I could play with it a bit and be ready. I'm hoping the new beta will be out shortly as I have one project I'm holding for this release.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your progress on this. Again, it looks very good!

The flash viewing looks very impressive, I certainly like the idea of being able to changes aspects of the effect, e.g. cover and add additional pages, etc. I am just starting out on a new project, so I would be interested to know when you think it will be released.
