Here is a little slideshow made as a photo album, there is absolutely no calculation to do it.

I hope you will enjoy.

Exquisite, JP! I noticed you even counted the pages and showed the correct number on each side of the book as they were being turned - very clever! B) Of course I wouldn't expect anything less from you! :)

One thing I noticed - just a picky little thing (and it doesn't detract at all from the overall effect) - the images seem to "adjust" themselves slightly to the frame at the beginning and at the end of the "turn". Is this because they are being activated separately from the frames?

Thanks Al for your comment, thats's right, I use the vertical zoom during the page turn in order it stay inside the frame. To day it's impossible to have the trapeze we need for that on a picture. The frame is made with PNG file and is above the photo.

and very nice photo.

Thanks Bernard, Danielle will be happy that you like her photos.

any chance of a Template

I was making a template for a screensaver in which people can put there own photo (child, family or flowers, all what they want), when she saw that Danielle ask me to put her photos, what I did, and it's the result. For the screensaver I have just a little problem, to day if you move the mouse, the screensaver don't stop, we have to wait a little for that, we are obliged to use escape.

When I finish it and write explanations to use this template you will have it. You will have possibility to copy several slides of it with the Hawk's method to put them in your own slideshow, no problems. It will be possible to move, zoom, rotate the book when the pages turn (but this need a good PC).

With this system, it's possible to open (or close) a window.

Al, I didn't see the page numbers on the presentation. Where were they?

Bill,

They aren't numbered. But you can count the edges of the pages as they turn, and just like a real book, the pages gradually move to the front section of the book as they are turned. :)

Well you have done it again! ā€“ Fantastic effect.

I am overwhelmed with the creations that are being achieved with this great program.

Looking forward also to a template of this effect, as I am sure I would use it often.

Sharing your talented creations with us all, much appreciated.

Very clever JPD - and how enjoyable! Look forward to the template - think it would look very nice for wedding photos with the bride's flowers as a background.....

Thank you - Nettleton

Very nice Jean-Pierre, very clever !

I think I got an idea of how you proceeded. I guess it's about the same technique you used for your 3D cube, right ? I can imagine it's a lot of work. Even if one can see the trick, I really love the background of pages themselves. Did you make them in Photoshop ?

Too bad there is no "transformation" feature in PTE (the ability to move independtly the 4 corners of an object).

Igor, is it really not possible in a future version ?

Hi Jean Pierre,

Extraordinary! I'm especially impressed with the subtle things which might go unrecognized but adds so much to the authenticity such as the very subtle shadow masking in the center of the album so that the lighting effect follows the natural inclination to light the inside border surrounding the photo on each page as that page is turned. This as well as other subtle lighting changes show the extreme attention to detail which you have used and makes this a very unique and professional presentation! BRAVO!

Best regards,

Lin

Thank you everybody for your comments. It wasn't too much difficult to do, it took me only two days to do the first one and two others days to do the second one lighter (for the template "Screensaver").

I think a lot of people can do the same because it don't need any calculation. I had this idea when I create the cube, it's a similar technic but much more easier.

I promised you a template, I have finish to do a new one, lighter and simplest than this slideshow, I create a newtopic here for that.
