Running External application

I'm trying to run an external application after the last slide in PTE 5. Although I have located the "Run external application after last slide" box in project options/advanced, and then located the external application on the hard drive, when running the show it just returnes to the desk top after the last slide. I notice that PTE inserts inverted commas around the application address which I believe is correct.

Some guidance from one of you gurus out there would be much apreciated.

The ability to run an external application isn't activated yet in version 5.

Re the quotes, they are required if you have a pathname included, or if there are spaces in the filename. However, I don't think they are required if you just use a simple file name.
