Presentation burned onto a DVD

I have a Pictures to Exe presentation which I want to burn to a DVD that will run automatically on a TV when I put it in a DVD player.

I have a laptop with a DVD burner in it and I need to know how to get this to happen..

you will need another program to do this -- you will have to make a vcd out of the pictures/music

Is ProShow Gold another slide show presentation program that will enable me to make VCD's or do I use the Pix2exe program to create the slide show and then use Proshow Gold to make the VCD.

Also, other than the VCD option of ProShow Gold, how do the 2 programs compare..

Also, is the VCD copy equal or better than a VHS tape quality when viewed on the TV..
