travis Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 Is there a way I can put multiple slideshows on 1 cd and have it autostart and run each show without interruption? My goal is to send out sample cd's with 2 or 3 different weddings on them for potential clients to review. Thaks for your help.Travis Quote
Danabw Posted April 19, 2003 Report Posted April 19, 2003 There is an autorun utility - see www.beechbrook.com/pte for the download. My two cents from a customer perspective - don't make me sit through all of them auto-running. Create a menu w/links to each show so I can view as much (or little) as I desire, and go directly to the one I want to see again, rather than wading through the others. Dana Quote
travis Posted April 19, 2003 Author Report Posted April 19, 2003 Thanks Danabw.A very valuable two cents, thank you! Next question, how do I add a menu? I've never done that, and it makes a lot of sense! Quote
JRR Posted April 19, 2003 Report Posted April 19, 2003 Travis:To make your "menu" (I like to call it a "front page") make a one image pte show and have the CD auto start that exe file. This show should keep the image on screen at the end of the show. Then in your one image, place OBJECTS with links that RUN APPLICATION and point to the other exe file, one exe file per object.Use OBJECT EDITOR to do this.Only drawback is that the OBJECTS change their relative location with different screen resolutionsHope that helps and is not too unclear(This question comes up frequently and we really should have a "how to" section on the forum.) travis Posted April 19, 2003 Author Report Posted April 19, 2003 Thank you JRR. A "how to" section is a great idea. Quote
