stand alone avi movie

Hi I am new to forums and pte

I want a stand alone avi to burn with any suitable burner.I see lin evans reply post 7 .ok Theres a way !

For 4:3 pal ENG do i need to resize all pits to 720x576 first ?

which vid and audio codec is best option to use ?

I assume that making the stand alone avi as Lin says i am finnished with pte and can shut it down.
