Hi John,

Actually I was on vaccation and only came back on saturday.

As soon as I went home, I register a 1&1 account but my domain (www.thedom.fr) is not activated yet. It should be in a couple of days maximum.

I already made all the changes in my config files and could import the database.

I thought I would use an other script but it's a lot of work and I will start with the previous one.

I still have to fix the security issues and apply the phpbb modifications to version 2.0.22.

It should be quick.

I changed the homepage a little bit too.

A new section is created and is called Links Center.

Each member can post a link in this area (to his homepage or to an interesting website).

I think the defaut template will be white instead of black because a lot of people complained about it.

I think I have to delete all the existing user accounts because as somebody noticed (don't remember who ), I think at least half of the users are spammers and one of them might have used his account to install the phisihing site.

Anyway, I'm very confident and I think the new website should be up and running before the end of the week.

Great to hear that your web site will be relaunched soon, I have really missed not being able to drop in and see what is available.

I hope you had a great vacation. I would recommend that you have to approve each link added by a member or else you might find that links are being directed to places where your members might not want to go. Just a suggestion.

I think this suggestion is a very good one !

I will implement an approval system for links.
