mal Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 HiI would like to know if PTE can have scrolling text like in the "About PicturesToExe" in the Help menu? Thanks. Quote
boxig Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Hi MalYou can do this but it will take a lot of work if you have many lines. Here is the basic how to do it:1. Use 1 pixel black jpg image as main image.2. Make your background black.3. Add Text object of one line in white.4. Position it in middle top most.5. Clear all effects.6. Set time for each slide to 100 ms in Project options.7. Copy slide.8. Paste slide.9. Open new slide Object editor.10. Drag your text 10 pixel down. 11. Copy slide.12. Paste slide.13. same as 9.Repeat 10, 11, 12, 9, 10, 11, ........I didn't try it but should work. You can adjust the time (100) and space (10 pixels) so it will look as you want. You gave me an idea for "Scrolling About" utility. I'll sit on it.Tell us if it works.Granot Quote
