Styles for slides, text, buttons?

When creating slideshow it would be really time-saving feature, when one could define styles for text, slides etc. It means, when creating show, one could easily change all text attributes and animations on all slides just editing once particular style. Although slides usually require individual approach for animations, there would still be many cases when applying same animation style for all slides (or two-three styles for different parts of slideshow) would make work a lot easier. Would it be possible?
