sti65 Posted April 22, 2007 Report Share Posted April 22, 2007 Hi All I made a show in 4.48 with two slides using Mosaic effect 900x900x100 and it worked fine I have now imported it into 5.9a and the Mosaic effect is very sluggish. Igor Posted April 22, 2007 Report Share Posted April 22, 2007 Yes, it is paradoxical case when video card works slower than CPU based engine.Mosaic 900 x 900 - it's almost two millions of triangles per frame and 60 times per second.Disable "Hardware acceleration" option and you'll see that this effect will work much faster.We can vastly speed up this effect in the next versions using hardware acceleration, but optimized effect will work only on latest video cards (2003 and later).
