Starting music at specific point

Does anyone know how to fade in and fade out the music associated with a slide show?

I would like to start the music 10 seconds into the song--Im lost!

Don't feel lost, Okiediver! It's all very easy.

1) To fade your music you need a little sound editor, like the free Audacity or Mp3 Audio Mixer by Acoustica (shareware $24.95), convenient and very easy to use.

2) With these programs you can also insert "n" seconds of silence at the beginning of your song, so you can add a 9-10 sec silence, and your music will start exactly when you want.
