Barry Beckham Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 To the bottom right of the main PTE5 screen is a tick box called Hold Time Points. To save me endless tests, has anyone discovered what it does.Hold the time points where ? Barry Quote
stonemason Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Hi BarryWhen this box is ticked if you delete a slide the timed point on the timeline is not deleted with it so presumably you can add a replacement slide in exactly the same place without affecting the timings of other slides, or just leave a gap without causing the remaining slides to re-spread themselves in a synchronized show.regardsGeoff Quote
jevans Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Also Barry, the converse is true and is the default setting. With the box unticked, insertion of slide in the middle of a show, moves all the subsequent slides along to make room for the new slide, and most importantly, also moves all the associated pzr effects for each slide as well.Jeff Quote
Barry Beckham Posted June 29, 2007 Author Report Posted June 29, 2007 Thanks guysWell, being able to hold those points and take out an image and insert another is quite a vital one for me, I do that all the time. Perhaps that box is too important to be tucked away down there. The default setting is nice to know, as I am farely likely to want that. I can't see a great deal of point in carefully adding images nicely in time with the music and then moving the timing points all to the right, defeats the object of the excersize a bit. However, thanks for that it is very usefull.Barry Quote
