Project Files created with v1.00 or v1.60 not supported

I have v5.0 and it will not open a project that was created with v.1.60. How do I open these files now?

Welcome to the forum. The files you are trying to open were made with Version 5 (beta or full) and are trying to load with Version 4.x. Open PTE Version 5 and then open your .PTE project file, it should work fine then.

You will need to all .pte files with Version 5 if you are primarily going to use it in the future, otherwise you will need to follow the process above until that time.
