elijahnow
Hello:I need to switch to another computer and I'm having problems getting pte to accept my license key. I remember I had a problem like this a long time ago but can't remember how I got it to work.If someone can tell me what to do I could use the help. Thanks,Del
Guest Techman1
Del,Is your license key file named "pte.reg" or something else? If it is pte.reg or anyname.reg, you should be able to simply double-click on it and it should make the entry into the registry. If it is a .txt, you can try renaming it to .reg and then see if you can double-click on it.If not, let us know what the problem is, what OS you have, what version PTE and I'm sure someone can assist you.Regards,Fred
elijahnow
Hello Fred:I got it to work. The last time I did this (which was quite a while ago) it seems like I had to copy and past the key in, but when you said double-click, I knew what I did wrong.I'm a little embarrassed but thats OK now that it works. Thanks again Fred,Del
