Hardware Acceleration with an old Graphic Card

Hi all!

Someone of our parish donated us a new beamer and a second-hand notebook.

I am very happy about this, but I have to learn to manage my PTE-Shows with graphic -acceleration, because the graphic card of the notebook (Mobility Radeon 7500) is not a new one and has only 32 MB Ram (!).

I learned, although I can use graphic -acceleration with zooms and movements with a few conditions:

- I have to avoid large zooms and movements. 110-115% zoom works smooth.

- I have to avoid zoom/movement at the same with transition-effects.

- The beamer has 1024x778 px. So I reduce the pictures to 1280x1024.

In this way it works.

Has someone other ideas?

With best regards.
