I am a long time user (no complicated shows) of PicsToExe and have encountered my very first problem. I upgraded to 5.0 and attempted to make several slide shows. None of them cycle thru all dozen or so pictures. The show stops at different slides.

If I use an earlier version of the program with the same pictures, all goes fine. I have even re-downloaded 5.0 but get the same results.

Ideas?

Welcome to the user forum Frank, you will find lots of help here.

Have you checked to see if "Customise Slide">"Main">"Stop at the end of this slide" is selected on the slide the show stops at?

In other words "No actions after this slide" should be set here.

Thanks for the quick response,

I have checked. All slides show "No actions after this slide".

I have the time interval set for 2 seconds but the slides stay presented much longer. They cycle nicely on the older version.

I will continue to experiment but ideas are welcome.

Hi, Frank,

If you like, send me the pte program file, without the pics or music, and I'll take a look at how it is set up. (alrobin @ alrobinson.com - remove the spaces). Also let me know how long the music is (by clicking on Proj Ops / Music / Show music duration, for each music selection if there are more than one).

Frank,

Im just assuming ... but I suspect your opening an older version .pte file (made with v448 etc) and expecting the same results when opened in new v5 ?

Several default values and setting are quite different in the versions. You may/will need to set/make some new defaults to your slides in the Project Optons and apply to current slides. Other settings may need some adjustments also.
