rel 5 can not find dvd when there is one in the drive??

I have just bought the rel 5 and also paid for the dvd burning, i go through the menu and put a brand new dvd-rw 4.7gig disk in the drive press start and it says no disk inserted. if i look in the d drive my computer seems to think that there is one inserted. am I missing something here please

Have you tried using a DVD-R or DVD+R disc to see if works with Video Builder.

How old or new is your DVD burner ?

* Some users have had to update the DVD burner firmware. Check your mfgr site for any possible updates on your model.
