He also gave me an exe file generated in PTE, no charge. I asked him for a DVD of it, which he also supplied... no charge, but.... the DVD has a banner saying 'unregistered copy' across it all the time. He then gave me an AVI file, but on my PC the sound plays fine but the video doesn't show. A codec analyser told me the audio codec was PCM and supported, but the video codec was 'unknown'. I want to import this AVI into my movie-making program to reburn a clean dvd, as I don't want to ask my friend for any more favours. Can anyone tell me what video codec is used in PTE?
