vfillin Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 I am not the only one in my photographic club to have 'jerky' transitions when 'fading in' between pictures in versin 5. It doesn't happen with every photo. Any ideas why this should be? Quote

Igor Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 The most likely some slides have too short time interval. For example, if as experiment you set 4 seconds time interval for all slides and this problem will not appears, it will indicate that problem in close time intervals.Large images requires (3000x2000) more long time interval, for small images 1280x1024 you can set more short time interval. It's actual for EXE slideshows. For DVD slideshows you can set any time intervals. jfa Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Welcome to the world of PTE A-Vs and the user forum Valerie, you will find lots of friendly help and advice here.I am not the only one in my photographic club to have 'jerky' transitions when 'fading in' between pictures in versin 5. It doesn't happen with every photo. Any ideas why this should be?I have seen this in shows created with PTE before v4.48 and a few in v4.48. But this has not been observed at all in PTE v5.xx.What level of PCs are being used? Quote
jansplans Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Deluxe 5.0 is dealing me fits with jerky transitions. I never had this problem with 4.4...all music is MP3 and the file size is much smaller than the 20,000 max size...WHAT'S UP ??!! Quote
Igor Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 It seems that old video card installed in your PC.But even in this case if you use 1280x1024 images and no animation (static picture) slideshow created in version 5.0 should play as created one in v4.4For smooth Ken Burns effects (Pan/Zoom) modern video card required.Or create DVD-Video disc which will play ideally on any PC or player.
