dwight
This is Dwight Hilpman with Creative Images Photography in Lawrence Kansas. We purchased Pictures to EXE back in 2004. Recently we got a new computer with Windows Vista and went to install the program. Upon the programs request for the product key, we are unable to find ours. The order number is 1090353234-25215-911341. How do we recover the lost key? Thanks,The Creative Images Team936 Avalon Dr.Lawrence, KS 66044785-842-5049785-842-5045 (Fax)
fh1805
Hi Dwight,If you still have access to the previouis computer you could use Windows Search to locate a file called Reg.txt. Open this in Notepad and confirm that it mentions Pictures-to-exe then copy the file into the folder on your Vista machine where PTE is now installed. Use this file and location when you register the key.
nobeefstu
Dwight,If you cannot find your registration key by the search approach as mentioned in the above post ... open your XP Windows Registry Editor (Regedit.exe). This is your old xp pc with PTE already registered on it of course. Look/search within the registry tree for this listing:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PTE ... and your Key is here.Click/Highlight the Key. Use File|Export on the main menu and save the key registration as PTE.Key to a folder of your selection. Copy it to your new pc and just double-click it to install into the new Vista registry.
