.AVI to .PTE?

Okay I have my .pte file all ready to burn to DVD but I have an .avi file that I'd like to run at the end of the DVD. Is that possible? Do I need to convert my .avi file to .pte to make this work together?

Its possible to add AVI and MPG2 files to a PTE DVD in 5.1 beta versions ... not possible in 5.0 versions. However, they are added as additional menu item content and not as binded/compiled together as you seem to suggest ... as far as I believe

I guess I need step by step instructions to add this .avi to my slideshow. I'm not having any luck. HELP!!!
