Newest non-delux version?

There is much talk about the new delux version and I am

envious of those who have it but I cannot afford one

just yet....

I have PTE 4.45 and wonder if that is the newest

version available?

If not can you post a link to the free upgrade for those

of us who own the plain version?

Hello Dan D,

as far as I know, you can upgrade to Version 5.1 (PTE-deluxe) using your old registration key (or even make an additional installation). The part of the new software which is used for generating PC shows should work anyway , but not the so-called Video Builder. The latter component can be used for burning DVDs from the PC shows you generate with PTE. It needs a separate key. If you decide to upgrade to the full version (including Video Builder) you only have to pay part of the price (20 $).

As you see from the previous replies you have 2 Choices:-

The updated Version 4.49 and the brand New Version 5.1x

Whats the difference ??

If you have an 'older PC' choose the 4.49 Version.

If you have a New PC you could use 5.1x but be

very careful, the new version is reallly designed

or modern PCs with 'Hi-Speed Graphic Cards' and

lots of avalable Memory and fast Processor's.
