Carol Steele
Is there any way to get a DVD slideshow to automatically start with a short intro chapter and then when it has finished to go to a static main selection screen where you can choose any of the chapters on that screen to play. nobeefstu
Carol,Video Builder currently can not perform this intro-menu feature ... but Igor has acknowledged its on his TODO List for future versions. For now you must rely on using some other third-party DVD-Menu creation programs/tools that have this function. Carol Steele
Thanks nobeefstu - I've been racking my brains trying to figure out a way to do it. Guess I should just have saved myself depleting the last few remaining few brain cells

nobeefstu
Lennart,You may already have the ways and means to do this with the exsiting DVD software that came with your burner. My DVD burner came with Nero Vision which is capable to add a intro which then leads to the menu. Its all pretty basic stuff and does the job for the average user that dabbles into DVD production. However, if you take DVD seriously ... you need some serious tools with much more expanded capabilities.See this link for some authoring tools :http://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/authoring-dvdFor the power, features and price ... DVD Lab Pro is well equipped to suit some serious needs.http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/helppro2/index.html?motioncell.htm

With regard to the current project, I squeezed my intro into the menu and I guess that will do for now. /Lennart
