Hi I need a bit of help.

I am trying to add 20 seconds of music to my first 6 slides, Then add different music to the rest of the show.

In the Project Option I have added the music.

I have Customize each slide & added the 20 second of music, Play background music file is Ticked.

In the main tab Synchronize music is off.

In the Time line Music plays independently is Ticked.

Now when I pay the show all I get is the first few bars of music for each slide

I looked at the Pte User Guide.

Are there any video tutorials on adding music.

I have version 5, What am I doing wrong.

Sergio

Why don't you add the 20 seconds of music to the beginning of the soundtrack that will play during the rest of the show (slides 7-....)? You could then add one single music track to the "project options" panel for music. You can download a free sound editor, Audacity, that will allow you to make the combination of sound files. Good luck.

Hi Sergio,

Bruce has pointed you in the right direction. You need to undo everything that you did after you added the music via Project Options. Now add the remaining pieces of music via Project Options. The end result should be that the 20 second piece plays first followed by any others in the same order that you added them via Project Options.

If the pieces of music need to be edited to adjust their lengths then you will need to make use of a sound editor such as Audacity. If you have never used Audacity before, take a look at my Audacity User Guide:
