This is an excellent in depth, unbiased and I think very accurate comparison of the two.

Old Timer

I was a user of Photodex ProShow Gold and then later ProShow Producer, but I now mainly use PTE5.1, I think you will find that many on this Forum have gone through the same experience. I think that PSG is a good program with many nice features, but picture quality is better with PTE. I only use ProShow Producer when I want to use video intermixed with the still images.
