Tissot,

Is it really too much work to convert a copy of your image to greyscale in Photoshop and then use this as an Object faded in/out over the top of the colour version?

Hello Tissot,

I don't think that this suggestion will really help. What do you mean by "switch form color to grey"? The standard greyscale function (convert image to Lab space and desaturate) or any other fixed method will not always give good results. For conversion to B&W, in many cases it is better to use something like the channel mixer or the new B&W function from PS CS3 with individual parameters.

Kind regards

Hello Peter

I didn't know this, thanks for helping.

I tried different Object faded in/out like painting to original and grey to color and other.
