I have made a slideshow with web sized images and am trying to upload it to my ftp account but when I try to view it I get this message:

Exception EListError in module Hannah&Chad.exe at 00076COF List index out of bounds (0)

Could someone please help me and tell me what is the problem.

thanks

Jenny

Hi Jenny

This error message usually relates to an incomplete file.

Do you have sufficient room for the file size on your FTP account?

If it was a .ZIP file you uploaded to your FTP and not enough room it may still reside as a .ZIP but not complete.

When you download, it will not run and you will get this error message.

If the file size on FTP is correct you may want to try downloading again, it may have got corrupted.

HI Ralph

Thanks for that. It is not a zip file just a exe file (should it be a zip file?) and i can see the full size of the show at 19mb as it starts to upload but it is only uploading to 9mb so therfor what you are saying does sound right, how can i check how much space i have on my FTP account.?

I would imagine the same message would occur with an improper.EXE.

You may have to contact your provider to check account size.

If your site allows .exe files then "no" it does not have to be zipped.

The file size 19 Meg .exe will not be reduced that much by zipping.

Can you temporarily download a few items / save - then delete from FTP site to allow the 19 Meg upload.
