mannybr2003 Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Some of my friends are asking me to create for them ScreenSaver out of PTE and put it on a CD. The trouble is I myself doesn't know how to install them even if I go to where their pc is located to install the ScreenSaver. Could someone show me please how this can be done with me, or even without me 'automatically'? Does PTE provides a way to have the .SCR file 'automatically' stored where XP store them if they are going to be used on a local pc? Sorry for my lack of knowledge about this matter.Manny Quote
ccmanz Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 An Easy way to do this in my opinion is....Just copy the Screen Saver into any DirFor Example in My Doc you can make a Dir your Self. And give it any name you would like.Once you have the Screen Saver copied into that Dir then Just Right Click on it and ClickInstallThis will bring up the Settings so they can Change the settings if they wish. But if they Delete That file that they put therethen the Screen Saver will be gone.I think this will be easy for them.cc Quote
Michel Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 For XP: copy the file .scr into the directory C:\Windows\System32It's all ! Quote
