Upgrade from PTE 4.48 to 5.5 Deluxe

I'm currently using PTE 4.48 and would like to upgrade to 5.5 Deluxe.

I read in in the forum (or FAQ) that it is possible to upgrade to the version 5.5 standard and buy separatly VideoBuilder.

Please confirm that the price of 26.00$ for upgrade to Deluxe allows to upgrade from 4.48 to 5.5 deluxe including Video Builder ?

Second question : Is it necessary to uninstall 4.48 before I install 5.5 ?

2nd question

no you do not have to uninstall 448 - ver 5.5 installs to a separate directory

In fact you can still start to build a show with 448 and then open the pte with 5.5 save it with a different name

there is ver 4.49 availablewhich you should get first and install it

Note that PTE and Videobuilder are one and the same program, with two unlock keys. The first key unlocks PTE, and if you purchase the second key it unlocks the Videobuilder part of the program.
